Not midnight. A visible starting point.
At 06:00, the app opens a new hydration day according to local phone time. If no bottle has been selected for that date, the app asks for a bottle first; later records belong to that day.
The boundary is not a health recommendation and it is not a command to drink at a particular hour. It is a consistent date rule for records, goal progress, and history.
Time boundary: The day follows the current Android device’s local time. If the device changes timezone, use the date shown by that device.
How the daily goal works
You can change the daily goal in Settings. Each confirmed hydration record updates the day’s total, progress ratio, and 3D water level. Cap, lighting, pose, and text logo do not change the goal calculation.
What happens across 06:00?
- The previous hydration day keeps its records, total, goal status, and bottle.
- The new day starts with a fresh state and waits for its bottle choice.
- History shows the two dates separately so a boundary crossing is not mistaken for one total.
