Choose an amount, then see the response

The Android shipped path offers 100, 200, and 500 ml quick amounts for common actions. A confirmed tap updates today’s total, goal progress, and the water level inside the 3D bottle.

When the amount is different, open the scale and choose a custom 100–1000 ml volume in 50 ml steps. The value is the amount you confirm, not camera recognition and not a number the app invents for you.

Logging boundary: Hydrate Lab does not recognize whether you drank water and does not create a hydration record without your confirmation.

What if the tap was wrong?

Use undo for the latest record when you made a mistake. Undo is intentionally scoped to the most recent local action; return to the day’s record list and scale when you need to check the broader context.

Three useful habits

  1. Use the amount you actually drank instead of filling a gap in the goal.
  2. Use the scale when precision matters, rather than stacking quick taps.
  3. Look at the progress and water level after logging so the current device state is clear.
